When a beloved repeat LYYP client learns that a friend is looking for a Bronxville baby photographer and that LYYP client shares my info, it makes me sooooo happy. I know I say this all the time, but current LYYP families always send me the best new families. And it’s not just because great people tend to know great people, although I’m sure that’s part of it. It’s more because choosing a photographer is a really personal decision. Every photographer is different, and every family is different — the key is to find a good fit. My matchmaker families know both parties, and they know more than either party does beforehand whether the fit’ll be good.
This matchmaker did a great job, and I had a delightful time with this new LYYP family late last year. I’m happy to report that their next session is already on the books, which is a great thing — I look forward to watching these two gorgeous redheaded girls (and their already sweet relationship!) grow and develop. 
I like to reward my wonderful matchmakers and my new LYYP families with little Referral Thank You gifts. Even without these little incentives, though, I like to think that we’d find each other. There’s something about the LYYP experience that is attractive to a certain kind of people — my people. My people are awesome and can pretty much be counted on to share the LYYP love.
