What a month! A trip to the zoo and some early college visits, coloring eggs, Easter morning and Easter dinner (although, hunh — no pictures of my cousin Sara, the world-renowned Italian chef visiting us from Rome — what’s wrong with me?!). The beginning of the lacrosse and rugby seasons. Another great Pelham Childrens Theater production with Emmett starring as Soldier Yao. Patrick’s 15th birthday (Ack! 15!?!?). Lots of good cousin time. Paul’s communion. Sheesh, it’s no wonder I’m exhausted half the time, am I right? My girl Kate is missing from a lot of this pictures. Sometimes that’s because of that thing she does where she stands directly behind me whenever I have my camera out. But the weekend of Paul’s communion, it’s because she’s NOT THERE. So very weird to not have her around on such a big family day. So very proud, though, that she was with a group of super-smart high schoolers who qualified for the State Speech and Debate Championship tournament up in Oneonta, NY. That’s my girl!
I seem to be slacking off on Instagram a little. Ten photos in the whole month? Who am I???I’m still doing the One Second Every Day project, although if you’re good at math you’ll notice that there are some seconds missing from the videos — more every month, I’m afraid. It’s hard to remember to take videos every day when there are so many OTHER things to remember every day. I try though, and I plan to continue to try. You can see April’s installment HERE if you like.
The pictures will do most of the talking this month, because May has turned to be ca-razy busy at LYYP headquarters, and I’ve got lots of other people’s moments to process. Thanks for looking!
