NY Travel Photographer | Alma Mater

I’ve been talking a lot about travel lately here on the blog, and now seems like a good time to share this great session in which I played NY Travel Photographer.

When this family contacted me to schedule their first photography session, they were living in New York.  Dad was finishing up his masters at Columbia University and Mom was pregnant with number two.  They knew the end of their life as New Yorkers would be coming to an end soon, and they wanted to capture that memory.  You can see the photos from that first session HERE.

Alas, they left me soon after that.  First for a job in Seattle, and then eventually for life near family in Korea.  BUT.  They never forgot about me.  They hire me to be their NY travel photographer every time they come back for a visit.  Last time we enjoyed a rainy afternoon in Central Park, and this time we visited Dad’s old stomping ground on the Campus of Columbia University.

One more thing, guys.  I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but did you know that one of my photos from their last session made it onto the cover of Inspired Magazine and another was a finalist in the Click Voice Collection?  Well, um, yeah. We just may be a lucky combination …
