I was looking forward to the arrival of this baby brother even more than I usually look forward to baby brother (and sister) arrivals. Having gotten to know big brother briefly at his free Christmas Card Micro Mini Session at the end of last year and then really spending some good quality time with him at the family’s LYYP maternity session in February, I was absolutely smitten with him. Such a sweet, happy, playful boy. I couldn’t wait to see his reaction to a new little life. (And what an absolutely beautiful little life!)
I knew he’d be a great big brother, and I was right! One of the fun things about being a Westchester documentary style photographer is that I really get to observe the routines and habits of a new family when those habits and routines are brand new. I can guarantee that when these brothers are bigger, the family will look back and recognize the beginnings of a relationship that, although it will have evolved, has elements that can be seen in these early stage photos. It’s really pretty cool.
I delivered their first McGuire Storybook Album at the ordering session for this newborn session — it came out so great! (Yep, I’ve decided — Oatmeal Linen is my favorite cover material for the McGuire book). Volume Two has been ordered and I look forward to seeing them both together in their home.
Thanks for looking!
