“Though she be but little, she is fierce!”
― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream
To be honest, fierce is not the first word that comes to mind when anyone looks at this little lovely. Happy would be more accurate. She smiles all the time. (Except that one time when we put her in her crib for a photo after she had told us in no uncertain terms that her nap was over). I guess there is some fierceness in play in the hard work she puts in as she she pulls herself up on her walker and determinedly pushes it across the family’s big living room. And in the celebration she allows herself when she reaches her destination.
This is the third time I’ve photographed this warm and loving family — the first time when big brother was a newborn, the second when baby sister arrived, and now this time, celebrating both kids’ birthdays. A common theme is the love and support the parents envelop both kids in, and the comfortable feeling it’s hard not to have in their midst.
(Also, have a mentioned that the light in their new house is DIVINE?)
Thanks for looking!
