March!
Lets see … we welcomed kid number three into the land of double digits with muffins, ice cream cake, chicken wings and a crazy rope climbing course. We had more snow, and then crocuses peeking through the snow. We took advantage of one warmish weekend day and went on a picnic/nature walk at Orchard Beach. PCT shows, sick days, shopping days. A trip to the regional Social Studies competition for National History Day. Homework and home-made board games, just for the fun of it. We saw real progress in Breezy as garbage piles shrunk and walls went back up. We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a fancy shmancy early morning breakfast at Gracie Mansion on Saturday, and a delightful traditional Irish breakfast with several other families on Sunday. And … we caught a leprechaun!
Oh, and we took an amazing trip to Arizona and the Grand Canyon toward the end of the month. Those pictures, though, aren’t going to be part of this “Moments of the Month” post. Why? Well, because there are a LOT of them and I’m just not finished going through them and getting them ready for the blogsite. You know, if you go on a big trip, you don’t have to keep on the “Moments of the Month” schedule when sharing photos. That’s true because I hereby sayeth it and maketh it so. (It’s good to be queen!) If you’ve got a real hankering for some photos of red rocks and canyons, there are a few toward the end of this post among my Instagram photos. I warn you — they’re not for the faint of heart. Enjoy!
Here are my instagram photos from March. Did you know that you can follow me on instagram if you want? The cute little camera icon on the top right of this page will take you to my page — my user name is jayemcl. Hope to see you over there!
And now, back to real-time April (or, ahem … what’s left of it. 🙂 )
Thanks for looking!
