Weekday Flowers| Weekday Mini Session

Introducing …. the winners of the free Winter Weekday Mini Session! From the LYYP Five Days of Giveaways  celebration of five years in business? Remember that?  Well, this lovely family was the winner.  (And proof, if you’re looking for it, that persistence pays — I think there were something like 81 ways to enter the giveaway, and this creative mama used ‘em all and maybe added an 82nd for good measure.  And she won!  See??)

Mom was set on celebrating spring — the season when her “chicks were hatched” — for her 2016 session.  Having done her last two sessions at home, she came up with an uber-creative way of doing that despite decidedly un-springlike temperatures.  Enter Larchmont Nurseries.  Have you been there?  Well, spring was in bloom there loooong before the crocuses started timidly poking their heads out in the rest of Westchester County, and they graciously allowed us to spend some time there for the session.  It was cozy and colorful in their beautiful greenhouse, and a wonderful way to celebrate spring — and little sister’s fourth birthday!
