I’ve been spending this rainy day illustrating all my various website pages with photos … more photos! Never enough! Anyway, in my clicking around, I realized I had never given you the full run down of my digital packages for 2014. That’s just not right. I’m going to fix that right now.
Most of the 2014 Digital Packages are pretty much the same as last year’s. They ain’t broke, if you know what I mean. There’s just one package that’s been made more awesome by a simple change designed to make it more like its big brothers. Let me explain — starting with the biggest brother, The Storybook Package.
The Storybook Package is, to me, the perfect package. Printing all the photos from your session is a surefire way to enjoy the whole story — today, tomorrow, and for generations to come. So many of the photos that’ll be in your gallery will be not exactly “hang above the mantle” material, but will tell parts of the story that you MOST want to remember — and that you’re most likely to forget! The way she scrunched up her eyes and rubbed her nose when she was ready for a nap. The way her cute, diapered little hiney looked as she crawled or toddled away from you. The way she looked at you when you cuddled together on the couch … (sigh).
So. The Storybook Package comes with all the fully edited digital files from your session, a 10×10 storybook album with all the images from your session (custom designed by ME — no work for you except to review a draft and give me your approval), and a bonus mini storybook album. That little mini storybook will gain you HUGE points if you gift it to the grandparents for some upcoming occasion, but I’m not going to tell you what to do with it — if you want to keep it to yourself, for your desk at work or to keep in your purse, I wouldn’t blame you one bit. Also, when you choose the Storybook Package, you get 10% off all a la carte items. (So, keep the mini storybook and buy them a print if you want!)
The Storybook Package can be ordered with Lincoln or McGuire storybooks. I’ve extolled the awesomeness of both here. (You’ll also find other examples of what the various spreads can look like and other details, so if you’re not familiar with my storybook albums, you’ll want to check that post out).
Next up is the Storybox Package.
The Storybox Package comes with all your digital files and a bordered 5×7 reference proof of each of the images from your session, tucked into a custom designed proof box. You can keep it on your coffee table and flip through the proofs any time you like. Since they’re in your hands and in front of your eyes, you’re much more likely to motivate to print the ones you love for yourself or the people you love. And when you do print, you’ll have the proofs to use as reference. This saves the images from exile and makes you happier in your day-to-day life! (A win-win, no?) When you choose the Storybox Package, you also get 10% off all a la carte items.
Finally, let’s talk about the Cliff Notes Package:
This package looks a lot like its predecessor, the Basic Digital package, but its MUCH better. It’s ALL the fully edited files from your gallery — a folder of high res images to print at any size, and a folder of web-sized images to share on Facebook. But now, it also comes with MORE — you get to choose what the “more” is, but either way, there’ll be something you can touch.
Why the change? It’s very simple. I KNOW all about your good intentions for the photos. But I also know how crazy your life is. Trust me — I know. I feel an obligation to the files in your gallery to give them the best possible chance of survival OUTSIDE the (admittedly cute) flash drive they’ll be delivered in. Making sure that at least a few of these files are delivered in a beautiful, tangible embodiment that you can hold in your hands and hang on your walls and show to the people you see is, I think, the best strategy for ensuring that all the others survive. Every time you look at that Standout Mount, for example, you just might smile and remind yourself to free the others. They want to be seen, people.
Speaking of being seen, all three digital packages still come with an uber-cool LYYP mobile app. It looks a little different this year, but it’s pretty much the same. You can install it on as many mobile devices as you like, so that your photos are ALWAYS with you! So cool …
And that’s it, ladies and gents. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or comments about the Digital Packages … or, you can always leave a comment right here! I always appreciate you stopping by …. (Oh, and there’s praise for these packages HERE, if you’d rather not take my word for it).
Thanks for looking!
