FALL 2026 BOOKING (AND HOW TO MAKE SURE YOU DON’T MISS IT)

Hello, friends!

I’m in the thick of things — between family and newborn sessions, designing books, photographing schools (and editing and preparing the gajillion little galleries) and prepping for my annual Holiday Card Miro Mini Session Event, I haven’t had much time to pop in here into the blog to share musings and advice. BUT. I’ve got something important to talk about today — I’m here to tell you about NEXT fall. I like to give an early heads up because fall dates are always in high demand. Again in 2026, there will be very little weekend availability.

Please keep a couple of things in mind, though:

• a morning together at home “playing hooky” from work and school in the midst of an otherwise cluttered family schedule juuuust might end up feeling like a highlight in the midst of an autumn with so very many to’s and fro’s; and
• big kids (unlike most babies and toddlers and preschoolers) are sometimes happier in the afternoons, and the sun sticks around until fairly late for September and October. An indoor at-home session after school OR and outdoor “Field Trip” session in the late afternoon can be a wonderful way to capture your real life and mark a special phase during which time seems to be moving especially fast.

I will be opening my calendar for family sessions in Fall 2026 on Tuesday, November 4th.

My 2025 Annual FREE Holiday Card Micro Mini Session Event bookings are open NOW for families who book in the first half of 2026, and as of today there are still openings on both dates.

If you’d like a session in the first half of 2026, you don’t have to wait — you can drop me a line right now and we’ll find a date for your family session. Remember – unless your kiddos are brand new and are changing at the the rate that brand new people change, there’s really no benefit to booking in the fall as opposed to spring or one of the cooler, cozier months of the year. Once you’re booked, I’ll send the Micro Mini sign up link along!
