THE 2024 KID PORTRAIT POPUP EVENT
Start getting excited for this fun Kid Portrait Popup Event on Friday, February 2nd! (The above left photo is of the gorgeous location of this year’s event. The right photo is my all-white inspiration by my good photography friend Angie Wynn Photography).
It’s like picture day at school, but muuuuch better. Gone are those crazy, distracting backgrounds we’ve become used to with traditional school portraits and instead, I focus on each child’s individual quirks and personalities. Let’s get photos that you’ll be happy to hang in your home – ones that show your kid as him or herself the way he or she is right now, in this brief moment in time. WHO
Who, me? I’m Jaye – a professional family and newborn photographer for over 13 years here in Westchester and NYC. For the last six years, I’ve been bringing my version of “school pictures” to several local preschools. Last year was the first standalone popup event, and it went so well that this year I’ve rented a studio to do it again.
Oh, and your kids! I’ll be photographing each child individually, and siblings who book back-to-back slots will be photographed together.
Also…. don’t take this the wrong way, but it’s super important that you please try to stay OUT of the line of vision of the kiddos being photographed — even/ESPECIALLY if that kiddo is your own. I’ve got a very short window to try to get multiple kids to warm up and then simultaneously look at me and smile. The odds are against me, when you think about it. Help me out by standing out of the way and try not to be a distraction, K?
To make this all go super smoothly, please complete the info form and agreement as soon as possible:
It’s your kid’s personality, frozen in time and ready for the wall. Rather than forcing a fake grin, I’ll be interacting with your kiddo and encouraging them to be themselves.
WHAT
February 2, 2024 is the day! Please arrive at least a few minutes before your session so that your child is ready to go (coats off, faces clean) as soon as I call them.
WHEN
This year’s popup studio is located at the beautiful Memory Space Studio in Larchmont (1971 Palmer Avenue – between “Stitch by Stitch” and “Estelle Gourmet”) Street parking is available – please leave extra time for parking so that your kiddos are ready to go a few minutes before your time slot.
WHERE
Each child’s session comes with one digital file. Additional digital files are available for purchase for $50 each and you can also purchase a Collection containing discounted digitals and print credits!
HOW MUCH
HOW WILL ORDERING WORK?
- Within three weeks of the Popup Event, I will send you a link to a fun preview slideshow of your images set to music. Once you click that link, you’ll have 24 hours to choose your Collection. The first Collection option will enable you to download the image(s) that are included in your session(s). Two additional Collection options will contain a mix of discounted digital files and print credits you can then spend in the integrated online Gallery Shop.
- Purchased digital files will be available for immediate download. Prints and products will be delivered directly to you!
