When I go to homes with bigger kiddos, I’m always sure to talk to mom (or dad) ahead of time to plan out some possible activities. Bigger kids — especially polite, obedient ones like these three guys — can be trickier to photograph as “them” for just that reason.
When I had this conversation with mom, she reminded me that their new puppy, Annie, was a great distraction for all five of them. She was right.
These guys gave me the perfect combination of good listening (so refreshing!) and natural silliness. Annie, of course, helped.
