Every year since The Life in Your Years Photography came into being — for four years now —  I have started my year-end wrap-up with a reflection on how lucky I am to be doing what I’m doing with the people I’m doing it with, and how thankful I am that you’re all on this ride with me. FOUR YEARS. Can you believe it? I’ve watched families grow, I’ve watched babies grow up to be big brothers and sisters. I’ve gotten to know so many of you and your kids. Gosh, it honestly gives me goosebumps to go back and look at the past “Thankful” slideshows (HERE, HERE and HERE, if you’re a nostalgic sucker like me) and see the how much these babies and kids and families have changed. And to think that I’ve been the lucky one who’s been invited to share these moments — and freeze them — for you. I am really, truly honored. And so, so thankful.

This year, I’ve gotta say, was the best ever. To those families who are new to the video this year, welcome. I hope it makes you smile as goofily as it does me. To my old LYYP friends, isn’t this fun???
