I only just took down the 2011 Christmas cards this past weekend. Sooo much work goes into getting great cards … I’ve always felt that to hang them when they arrive in late December only to take them down in early January when the rest of the Christmas stuff gets packed up would be a gyp. So, they get to stay a little longer in this house — along with my favorite glass ornaments that hang in the front windows. They’re too pretty to box up as well. The house looks barren without all the pretty card-decked boughs throughout the kitchen and family room (a display idea stolen from a friend made through photography, by the way). I’m already looking forward to next year!
