Annie Jr. Comes to Pelham!

Please excuse this interruption. We interrupt this steady stream of adorable kids and babies to give you an important public service message … about one of MY adorable babies!

Just in case you’re in Pelham and you haven’t already heard … Annie Jr. is playing at our very own Manor Club Theatre this weekend! There are two casts, and each is performing two shows. LOTS of talented actors, actresses, singers and dancers will be showing us their stuff. Annie is SUCH a great show — I can still remember the feeling of excitement when I saw Andrea McArdle in the original Annie on Broadway … my first Broadway show. I was literally at the edge of my seat. And oh, the hours spent singing along to the soundtrack afterwards … As all the members of my household would gladly tell you, I still remember every word.

Now, I did officially tell you that there are two casts, right? And I mentioned that there’s a plethora of fantastic talent in both shows, right? Well, now I have to tell you this — MY GIRL is ANNIE in Cast B!!! My little blondie will be wearing a red wig, but trust me — it’s her! Here she is at yesterday’s rehearsal, meeting “Sandy” for the first time…

Aaaaaaaawww .. that’s my girl! I’m soooooo proud of her.
