Featured NAPCP Inspired Magazine | Story

If there’s one goal I bring to every session, it’s to tell your story.

Usually, I use your entire gallery of images to tell it – all the little details, expressions, activities are there and you enjoy them as a whole for the entire story.

Sometimes, though, one photo sums it up perfectly.

This month, NAPCP (The National Association of Professional Child Photographers) was looking for submissions for the “story” issue of Inspired Magazine.  I knew I had to submit. And as usual, it’s always a thrill when one of my images gets chosen for publication:

“This darling has spent most of the entire seventh year of her life alternating between pretending to be a jockey and pretending to be a horse.  She was NOT interested in pictures on the day of her session, until I embraced that and asked her to show off her jumps.”

In this chapter, the summer of 2020, Covid meant that we had to plan a fully outdoor session.  We hung out in their beautiful backyard and then I tagged along for a favorite quarantine activity at the local golf course.  Fun was definitely had by all.
