One of my last pre-pandemic in-home photography sessions. When preparing for my in-home photography sessions, I tend to encourage parents to let the kids get away with murder for just a little bit. I know in my house, the nerf wars are limited to the basement or outside. Otherwise we’d all be in danger of being pummeled by a running boy and there’d be Nerf bullets everywhere all the time. I definitely feel like the fact that this particular Nerf battle was allowed to spread over the entire house is part of what made it — and our Saturday morning session together — extra fun.
Remember this was beautiful.
