Have I mentioned that I love September? There are so many things to love — there’s the start of school (I’m tempted to link that awesome Staples commercial here, but I won’t. You know the one). All those goofy ‘back-to-school’ photos — kids wearing first-day-of-school outfits and empty backpacks, standing on the stoop. The cooling off and the drying out. The new beginnings and the fuzzy sweaters. And this year, we went apple picking one Saturday when all the soccer games were over.
Anyone who knows this guy knows that he LOVES to eat. And the apples were sweet and crunchy.
THIS boy of mine is happiest if he can be playing some form of ball game. Or, it turns out, if he’s juggling apples. Who knew he had such crazy juggling faces?
It really was a fun, relaxing afternoon.
I’d also like to show you a couple of my favorite “fly on the wall” shots from this month. I love sneaking up on my kiddos and catching them in the act of playing nicely together.
Ordinary moments. That make me happy.
I drop in occasionally with tips, deals and announcements. Want to be the first to know?
