It’s Throwback Thursday!
I usually re-blog an old post from the archives, but there’s been something on my mind so I’m switching it up just a bit for this week.
In 2015, I challenged myself to capture one second of video each day for a WHOLE year. The One Second Every Day App made the actual capturing and compiling part pretty easy – the only challenge was remembering to take the video. And truth be told, I didn’t remember every day. But I did remember a lot of days, and the result was this awesome 6-ish minute video collection of moments from our year.
One Second Every Day in 2015 from Jaye McLaughlin on Vimeo.
I was relieved to take a break from my daily habit at the start of 2016. Now, eighteen months later though, I wish I had a little tiny snippet of every day of every year. So much happens. So much changes. My family is SO different now than it was in 2015. Our first bird will be leaving the next in a few short months.
So. I’ve decided to take on a little mini-project. Challenging myself to capture at least one second from our last summer as a full family of six, before the first flight. And since this weekend is the unofficial start of summer, that’s when it begins.
Wish me luck!
Thanks for looking,
~Jaye
