The Worm Family has its Picture Taken | Family Photo Promotion

Several weeks ago, I received an email from my friend Francine of The Voracious Reader – a wonderful children’s bookstore with whom I’ve partnered many times over the years. Francine served the Westchester community in her brick-and-mortar shop in Larchmont for 12 years, and is now continuing that service online. She had just gotten word of a new book that was to be published in May that made her think of me.  (It’s funny how kindred spirits/businesses find each other, isn’t it?)

The book, titled “The Worm Family has its Picture Taken” is beyond adorable. It chronicles a family of worms as they plan and agonize over their first family photo session, and (spoiler alert!) eventually allow their well chosen photographer to help them relax, be themselves, and take the most perfect and unique family photos that are reflection of their own family story.

I was amazed – honestly, it’s as if this as if this clever author and wonderful illustrator read all my rantings and created this masterpiece just for me.  Hooray for worms, and hooray for celebrating and capturing every family’s unique story!
