I’ve been meaning to blog some favorites from this session before September ends – looks like I’m just in the nick of time.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Everyday, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer and it remains the leading cause of death by disease in children. Together with The Gold Hope Project, I photograph families who are currently facing or have faced a cancer diagnosis with their children. This organization provides free portrait sessions of these families and funds research, and I’m so honored to be able to be a part of what they do.
TGHP already shared some photos from this session, which was all about celebrating Morgan survivor status and how the love of her family pulled them all through. Here are a couple more of my personal faves.
