Third Annual LYYP Pic of the Year Contest 2015!

2016 has already been an exciting year, huh?  Last month I celebrated LYYP’s FIFTH birthday with five days of Giveaways on Instagram.  And now, it’s time for the third annual LYYP Pic of the Year Contest!  You thought I forgot, didn’t you?  Naw, I just wanted to spread out the fun over two months, because why not?

This year, I’ve decided to do the contest a little bit differently.  You see, I had more than seventy five sessions in 2015 and took more than five thousand LYYP photos.  Rather than completely overwhelm my lovely clients and LYYP followers with first round of a gajillion photos, I’ve decided to call in the big guns — a highly esteemed panel of professional photographers —  to narrow down a group of image finalists for you to ponder (Thank you Becky, Lena, Jennifer, Justine, Amy and Erin!).  With my help, these photographers have chosen the finalists for the 2015 Pic of the Year.  Now, it’s up to YOU to decide who will win the title — and the grand prize that goes along with it!

Drumroll please …  here are the LYYP 2015 finalists!

THERE WILL BE THREE WINNERS:

1. The images with the most votes wins the Grand Prize of a 20×30 Float Wrap valued at $525!  You can vote once in the online poll here on the blog OR by liking your favorite image on Facebook (in the 2015 LYYP Pic of the Year Gallery) OR on Instagram (just search #LYYP2015) — feel free to ‘like’ any other faves you see as well.   That’s at least THREE votes you can cast for your favorite(s) — the image with the most combined votes wins!
2. The runner up will win 200 LYYP Bucks good toward any session in 2016.
3. ONE RANDOM VOTER will receive 300 LYYP Bucks good toward any session in 2015!!! That’s right, you don’t even need to have an image in the final round to win this contest! (Just drop me a line in the comments letting me know that you’ve voted so that I know to add your name into he hat!)

WINNING STRATEGIES

I know you want to win this, and I’m telling you right now that you can’t do it alone. In order to gain an advantage, you’ll have to call in reinforcements. It’s easy. I’ll even give you a sample email/text/facebook post/phone script to send along to your friends to make it super easy. Just copy, paste, edit and send:

“Dear [friend/neighbor/colleague/Mom], Hope you are [well/feeling better/doing great] Would you please do me a favor? Voting begins NOW and will continue until Thursday, February 11th.
I will announce the winners on my blog on Friday, February 12th.
Sessions must be scheduled by November 13, 2016 and are subject to availability.
I reserve the right to disqualify entries or terminate/modify contest if necessary.
