I’ll tell you why the 4+ week time frame is becoming my favorite favorite age for in home sessions as a Bronxville Newborn Photographer. It’s because while baby is stilly tiny and fuzzy and curly, he is now able to follow his family members around the room with adoring eyes. You can really see the love. And that’s sooooo amazing to me.
This is the story of what it was life was like for this little family as they settled in as a newly-made family of four.
I also love imagining baby brother a time in the future — maybe, say, when he’s five years old — looking at the storybook album from this session with his sister, mom and dad. When maybe they’re not living in this apartment anymore. Seeing all the details. How his sister doted on him. The artwork on the wall in her bedroom. And then I imagine him looking at it again when he’s a teenager. And then again when he’s a dad himself. Wouldn’t we all love to have these moments — and the evidence of the obvious love in this apartment on this day — to look at forever and ever?
Sigh.
Thanks for looking!
