I’ve been looking forward to sharing this session. Just like I am always looking forward to seeing this gorgeous family for photos. Since the first time I photographed them. This most recent session was actually runner up prize from my 2013 “Best of the Year” Contest. (Remember “Lashtastic”?) This is what you call a win-win!
There is a also a little tinge of sadness in this session. Well, not really. They’re moving, is all. And from my own experience, as much as we welcome new beginnings, there’s always a bit of sadness when we leave a place as soaked in memories as the home to which you brought all four babies is apt to be. To cement the memories of their first home for this family, we played for a while in the backyard, and then took a familiar walk to a nearby lake. I’m sure they’re in for lots of good times in their new home — with a much bigger yard and a quiet cul-de-sac out front to ride their bikes around.
I look forward to seeing this family again and photographing them in their NEW home — cul-de-sac and all. (They’ll still be in Westchester, so I hope to be their Westchester Lifestyle Photographer as they start accumulating those memories!)
There’s another lakeside favorite HERE, in case you missed it.
Thanks for looking!
