My daughter wrote this quote out in pencil on a blue 3×5 index card. She gave it to me, saying that she thought I might like to use it in my business — because “it’s kinda like what you do.”
How awesome is that??? She knows I like quotes, yes. She also knows that I’m a Norman Rockwell fan, yes. But she gave this to me because she saw something similar between the way Norman Rockwell approaches his art and illustration and how I approach my photography. That makes me SOOOO happy. I do love to tell my clients’ stories — to tell the simple story of their “right now” to their future selves, by giving them photos of the kinds of moments that fill their days right now. I guess I’m a storyteller, too.
Today’s story is not about America — in fact, the dad in this family is French. It’s a story of a family in Pelham with two little girls, a little dog and two cats, and what the moments of their life look like right now. Enjoy!
